Engineered around the proven Hermes RB 406 J-Flex abrasive platform, this premium aluminum oxide belt is designed for knife makers who demand consistent finishes, cool cutting performance, and exceptional flexibility. The high-quality aluminum oxide grain is resin bonded to a highly adaptable J-Flex cotton cloth backing, allowing the belt to conform easily to blade profiles, plunge lines, contours, and handle materials while maintaining a smooth, controlled finish.

The grinding aid is incorporated into the abrasive surface to reduce grinding temperatures, minimize heat discoloration, and prevent premature grain dulling. The result is longer belt life and cleaner finishes on stainless steel, carbon steel, tool steels, Damascus steel, and other high-alloy blade steels.
